| "Roslyn: The hat arrived today, and I LOVE it. It is that beautiful fur felt you see very seldom these days. I will enjoy starting off the Fall season with it in the hat wardrobe, as it will go with so many things I have. I have so many hats that I switch them from upstairs to the basement every season. I decided to try to count them as I did it last week. I'm not sure I got every hat, but my count came up to 260!!!. I wear a hat every day and everywhere I go -- from the grocery store to parties. Have loved them since I was a small child, and have decided that I am a throw back to my great-grandmother who homesteaded a cattle ranch in Nebraska, but owned a house in Denver, and had many formal pictures taken wearing wonderful hats. I have a tall net toque with a huge rhinestone starburst pin on one side and a net scarf with pins to stick it into the hat marked EMME New York, so it is the same designer that designed the EMME Boutique hat that you sent to me. Both are beautifuly made. The one you sent looked like it had hardly been worn. Do you know where it came from? It is always interesting to know the history behind these vintage pieces. While your on-line picture gave me a great idea of what they looked like, I liked the actual frames much better than the picture. I lost my eyeglasses, which I use only occasionally, on a trip to St. Louis about a week ago. Of course, the pricey part of replacing eyeglasses is the cost of those designer frames, especially if you want something distinctive. | NEW added 10-1-07 Just a quick note to let you know how very pleased I am with this Deco set and with you! I was afraid to expect too much -NOT b/c of you or the pictures, but rather due to the fact that had recently bought a piece of similar design for 5 times the price (also believed to be a Wiesner - which I still think this is) and it was not at all in the promised shape after waiting a month to get it. Long story but was replacement piece. Seller not on eBay sold me a piece she then said she didn't have. I had so been looking fwd. to receiving that piece and found it needs to be restoned - but after all the hassle with her, kept it and will just pay to buy new old vintage rhinestones and attempt it myself. Same size as the clear chatons on this one from you, but about 150 of them. Ugh. So I was afraid to get my hopes up. I am just thrilled with both the pin and the earrings! Maybe even better than you stated : ) and truly got them for a steal in my opinion. I am surprised as heck that no one else bid and can only think I got lucky. I am very impressed with you. I know I am being effusive, but wanted you to know how much receiving my set has seriously brightened my week and a rather blah outlook lately. Partly because the set is so lovely and neat and partly because any time someone meets and exceeds your expectations, it makes you feel good and validated. In any case, left you very positive feedback and I have also peeked at your website. Though haven't had time to look around yet.
